The world is also fundamentally changing in favor of sites like Break.com Recent OPA studies have proven that online video advertising is being viewed by 2 out of 3 online video viewers, with 44% of those taking action on what they have seen within the advertising they have viewed.

Break.com is expanding their advertising sales coverage with the hiring of a Regional Sales Manager in Los Angeles who will report into the VP of West Coast Sales, located in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate for this position is an independent, self-motivated sales professional who can confidently represent the brand in Southern California, Nevada, and Texas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with high level decision makers
  • Focusing on building an advertising base of clients and agencies
  • Engaging in a consultative selling to understand and capitalize on client needs
  • Building creative and unique solutions for clients
  • Generating sales revenues from candidate's own list of leads/prior accounts
  • Prospecting, lead-generation and development of new accounts

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of media sales experience
  • 3+ years of dot.com sales experience (consumer branded websites)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive revenue targets
  • Experience with both agency and client-direct sales
  • Results-driven orientation
  • Ability to structure and close a sale and sell on the value of a brand
  • Strong presentation, networking, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop creative advertising programs
  • Independent self-starter who comes equipped with target contacts and can get up and running with minimal top-down guidance
  • High degree of integrity and business ethics
  • Good working relationships and contacts at top accounts/agencies, especially those targeted for key verticals; including brands targeted for men 18-34.
  • BA or BS required

Other Details:

  • Located in Los Angeles
  • Some travel is required
  • Reports to VP of West Coast Sales

Break Media is seeking English, Communications, or Business under graduate majors to be a marketing intern for the Internet's premier entertainment community for men. We are looking for someone with strong creative writing skills to maintain and update our company MySpace and Facebook pages. They are also responsible for seeking out new contacts and maintaining current friends. Creativity and a full understanding of both social networking sites is a must - we want to keep our pages current, exciting, and enticing to guys aged 18-34.
